Deep Dish Dungeon Settings: Every Option and Where Saves Are

Checked October 20, 2026 · Deep Dish Dungeon, Steam build 25955406

Deep Dish Dungeon's Settings menu has five tabs: AUDIO, SCREEN, GAME, INPUT and BUTTON BINDS. You can open it from the main menu or the pause menu. The options players ask about most are all there, with a few gaps.

Deep Dish Dungeon settings: the short answer

New to the game? Start at the Deep Dish Dungeon guide hub.

  • Arachnophobia Mode is on the GAME tab. It hides the spiders' legs.
  • Ultrawide: Raw Fury's FAQ says all widescreen ratios are supported; pick your resolution on the SCREEN tab.
  • Motion sickness: change Camera Field of View on the GAME tab and VSYNC on the SCREEN tab. There is no head-bob or camera-shake toggle yet.
  • Save files for the Steam version on Windows are in AppData\LocalLow\Behold Studios\Deep Dish Dungeon\SavedGames.

Arachnophobia mode: what it changes

Open Settings, go to the GAME tab and switch on Arachnophobia Mode. It has been in the game since the demo.

What it does is narrow. A developer described it in the official Discord on February 23, 2026 as an option that "can hide the Spider's legs", and gave the same answer in the Steam discussions. Players who tried it after launch report exactly that: the spiders lose their legs, but they are still there, and so are the spider webs. If webs or the shape of the bodies are what bother you, the mode will not remove them.

There is no other spider option in the menu.

Ultrawide, resolution and screen options

Ultrawide works in the full game. Raw Fury's FAQ on Steam, posted at launch on October 13, 2026, answers "Yes! All widescreen ratios are supported." A developer confirmed it in the Steam thread where players had asked for 21:9 since the demo: "Super/Ultra wide is now supported". In the demo, players could not pick an ultrawide resolution; that changed for the full game.

Everything for the display is on the SCREEN tab:

  • Resolution: choose it, then press Apply.
  • Full Screen.
  • Render Quality and Brightness (Gamma).
  • UI Scale: Normal or Large.
  • VSYNC.

There is no separate frame-rate limit in the menu. On Steam Deck, patch 1.0.47.0 (October 15, 2026) made the game start in native full screen; for Steam Deck Verified and controller layouts, see our Steam Deck notes.

Motion sickness: FOV, VSYNC and what is missing

Deep Dish Dungeon is played in first person, and some players feel sick after a short time. The settings that help are:

  • Camera Field of View on the GAME tab. Asked about a third-person view, a developer said it is not planned and pointed to "options for changing the FOV value".
  • VSYNC on the SCREEN tab. A developer suggested VSYNC or FOV to a player with motion sickness in April 2026.
  • Look Sensitivity and Invert Look on the INPUT tab, if fast turning is the trigger.

What the game does not have yet is a toggle for head bob or camera shake. Players asked for one on Steam on launch day, and a developer replied in the official Discord on October 17, 2026 that it would go into the plans. There is no date for it.

Rebind keys and controller buttons

You can rebind every gameplay action, on keyboard and mouse or on a controller. Raw Fury's FAQ says so, and the BUTTON BINDS tab lists each action with a Primary and a Secondary binding. DEFAULT puts everything back; the game asks you to confirm first. One button is reserved for going back and cannot be bound to anything else.

Invert Look and Look Sensitivity are on the INPUT tab. Whether the game supports your controller, and how it plays on Steam Deck, is on our controller support section.

Audio and voice chat settings

Music and sound effects have their own volume sliders on the AUDIO tab. Voice chat is proximity chat: you hear the players near you. In the PROXIMITY CHAT group you can:

  • pick your microphone (Voice Input) and speakers (Voice Output);
  • set your own Mic Volume and the Voice Volume of others;
  • mute yourself, or mute one player at a time under Users in the Channel.

There is no push-to-talk option, and players have asked for one. Whether your game is listed publicly and its password are on the GAME tab; our multiplayer guide covers joining and shared saves.

Where are Deep Dish Dungeon save files?

On Windows with the Steam version, saves are here:

C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\LocalLow\Behold Studios\Deep Dish Dungeon\SavedGames

Each save is one file named after the save, ending in .ddd. A developer gave this folder and file type in the official Discord on October 15, 2026, and said to create the SavedGames folder if it is missing. The log file the developers ask for in bug reports, Player.log, sits one folder up, in Deep Dish Dungeon. Steam lists Steam Cloud for the game.

The Xbox app version (PC Game Pass) does not use this folder. One player found their save under AppData\Local\Packages\RawFury.DeepDishDungeon_…\SystemAppData\wgs, as a file with a random name. Copy saves only while the game is closed.

To save and quit, rather than to find the files, see how saving works. Known crashes and the torch bug are covered in known issues.

Version notes and limits

Still open: the range and default of each option, and where the macOS version keeps its saves. The developer said on October 19, 2026 that a patch is coming within days; we will re-check the menu when the build changes.
