What do you need to open the Queen's Door?
Three dishes from the Cooking Pot: Cooked Veggies, Bean Soup and Stew, one on each of the three Table Slots in front of the door.
The Queen's Door in the Deep Dish Dungeon full game opens with three dishes: Cooked Veggies, Bean Soup and Stew. Put one dish on each of the three Table Slots in front of the door, in any order. Once all three are in place, the door opens and stays open.

Bean Soup is the dish every launch-day player whose stream we checked skipped, and the door will not open without it.
How we know this. Nobody had published footage of this door opening when we checked, so the rules on this page come from how the full game's files and code set up the door, the Table Slots and the Queen, not from a run we played. Launch-day streams confirm what the table looks like and that players reach it early. Where the door sits in the dungeon is not confirmed yet.

You will know the Queen's Door by the table in front of it: a table with three slots, which the game calls Table Slots. Players often call it the gold door.
Three launch-day streams we checked all reached it within about two hours. Lil Lyly found the "golden door" and its three plates in the first hour and noted a lot of bats in the room; the groups on Juniper Actias Official's and Coach_Duke_Streams' channels reached the table with its three slots before the two-hour mark. All of them tried to work out what goes on the table, and none of them opened the door that day.
The exact spot in the dungeon is not confirmed yet, so this page does not describe a route to it.
All three dishes come from the Cooking Pot. Each batch uses two or three ingredients and gives you one dish. The pot cooks the first recipe your ingredients match, so the mix matters as much as the ingredients.
Our Cooking Pot guide explains how the pot matches recipes, with every recipe it can make.
All three dishes spoil over time, so cook them close to when you plan to visit the door, and carry all three there in one trip.
Put one of the three dishes on each Table Slot. It does not matter which dish goes on which slot, or in what order you place them: the door opens as soon as all three slots hold the three different dishes.
The Table Slots take food only. The three dishes go on, but raw ingredients such as Wild Pepper, Raw Meat and Black Beans, animal carcasses, a bottle of water and Rotten Food will not. A few raw foods, such as a Tomato, can be placed but do not count.
If the door stays shut with three dishes on the table, check two things:
You can take any dish back off a slot whenever you want, as long as you have room for it. Nothing on the table uses a dish up.
Once all three dishes are in place, the Queen's Door opens and stays open. You cannot open or close it by hand, and taking the dishes back afterwards, or letting them spoil, does not close it again. The door only checks the three slots: it does not need the Queen, her crown or anything else.
What lies behind the Queen's Door is not confirmed yet; we will add it once footage of the opened door is available. If you are working through the dungeon's other placement puzzles, our Sanctuary Door guide covers the door that takes four gems.
The Queen is a skeleton enemy in the full game who shares her name with the door, and she wears the Queen Crown. She starts the game knocked down, and while she is down she cannot be hurt. Once she notices you, she gets up after about 20 seconds and fights like the other skeletons. Our enemies table lists the Queen's 225 health and 30 melee damage.
Unlike the other skeletons, which keep getting back up, the Queen stays down for good once you knock her down.
When you reach her and she is down, either before she gets up or after you have knocked her down, you can take the Queen Crown off her. That is where the crown comes from. Its description reads: "Bent by time, stained by ash, still it demands reverence." You can also put the crown back on her; we found nothing in the game that happens when you do.
The Queen Crown is one of the game's treasures and shares its name with a Steam achievement. Our achievements guide covers the treasure achievements, and our items table has an entry for the Queen Crown.
You could not find the Queen's Door in the free demo, Steam build 23712006. The demo had no Queen's Door, Table Slots or Queen in the dungeon, so this puzzle could not be played before the full game.
Still open: where the Queen's Door is in the dungeon, what lies behind it, and which part of the dungeon holds the Black Beans plants. We will update this page once footage of the opened door confirms these, or if a patch changes the door, the Table Slots, the three recipes or the Queen.

No. Any dish can go on any slot, in any order. The door opens once all three dishes are on the table.
Put two or three Black Beans in the Cooking Pot and nothing else. Adding another vegetable turns it into Cooked Veggies.
Either one of the three dishes is missing or doubled, or one has spoiled. Each slot needs a different one of the three, and a dish that has turned into Rotten Food no longer counts.
No. You can take each dish back off its slot, and the door stays open after you do.
Not confirmed yet. Nobody had published footage of the opened door when we checked, so this page does not describe what lies behind it.
Yes, once she gets up. She starts knocked down and gets up about 20 seconds after she notices you. Once you knock her down, she stays down.
Take it off the Queen while she is down. She wears it from the start.
No. The Queen's Door, the Table Slots and the Queen are full-game only.
