Unofficial and independent
NPC Tips is an independent fan site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the developers or publishers of the games it covers, and nothing on the site is an official statement from them.
Accuracy and game versions
Games are patched, and a guide that was right for one version can be wrong for the next. Each guide labels its evidence and, where it matters, names the build or date it describes. Treat anything without a current version note as a starting point rather than a guarantee. The editorial policy explains the labels.
We correct mistakes when we learn about them, but we cannot promise that every page is complete or current.
Game data
Some tables and tools use values read from the game files of a specific build. Those values describe that build only. Data from unreleased content is marked as such, and a value that the files do not settle is not presented as fact.
Advertising
The site shows advertising from third-party networks to pay for hosting and research. Advertisers do not review or influence the guides. The site does not currently use affiliate links; if it starts to, the affected pages and this disclaimer will say so. The privacy notice explains which advertising services load.
Trademarks
Game titles, logos and related marks belong to their respective owners. They are used on NPC Tips only to identify the games being discussed.
