Deep Dish Dungeon Recipes by Station

Demo build 23712006 · checked

This Deep Dish Dungeon recipes table shows what each recipe makes, which ingredients it takes and how many, and how long it takes, grouped by the station you make it at.

Quick answer

Deep Dish Dungeon sorts its recipes by where you make them: by hand in the Crafting menu, at the Workbench, the Cooking Table, the Cooking Pot, the Oven, the Rotisserie and the Kettle, plus weapon upgrades at the Forge Anvil. The table below lists each recipe with its ingredients, amounts and time. Every ingredient and result links to its row in the Deep Dish Dungeon items table, which covers what each item does and where it turns up.

The Cooking Pot works differently from the rest: you put in two or three ingredients from one recipe's list, and it cooks the first recipe they match. A recipe unlocks once you pick up one of its ingredients, in the developer's words.

Until the full game launches on October 13, 2026, everything here is read from the demo's game files. The table is then rebuilt from the full game at this same address. The developer has said the full game has more food to cook, and that cooking gets more complex with the Cooking Table and the Oven.

Crafting stations and what each one makes

Deep Dish Dungeon crafting starts in the Crafting menu, where you make things by hand: torches, wood planks, rope, the Backpack, chests, and most of the stations themselves. Every station below has its own group in the table; the Workbench, the Cooking Table, the Cooking Pot, the Oven, the Rotisserie and the Kettle also have a recipe in the Crafting group.

The Workbench makes weapons, armor, shields, arrows, Chains, Leather and the Hammer that breaks bars (see the guide to breaking bars). The Cooking Table prepares food for cooking: dough, wraps, fish fillets, and raw pies and pastels for the Oven. The Cooking Pot makes soups, stews and pasta. The Oven bakes those pies, pastels and breads and roasts single ingredients, one item at a time, and it needs Coal to burn. The Rotisserie roasts one item in each of its three slots, and food left on too long burns. The Kettle brews potions and needs water first. The Forge Anvil upgrades weapons up to level 3.

In the demo, the Workbench, a Rotisserie, a Bonfire and the Forge Anvil are already standing, and the Cooking Table waits in a small campsite in the barracks, in the last part of the demo. There is no ready-made Cooking Pot: you build one from an Iron Pot and 3 Iron Rods, which lie together in the demo. The Kettle needs that same Iron Pot. The Oven needs 5 Clay, and there is no Clay to collect in the demo (the Clay guide explains why). Forge Anvil levels 2 and 3 need a Grinding Stone, which we did not find anywhere in the demo's files.

Everything the Deep Dish Dungeon Cooking Table makes is in its own group of the table: Cooking Table recipes.

How to use the Cooking Pot

The Cooking Pot has three slots, and each slot holds one item, so you cook with two or three ingredients, never a whole stack. Every ingredient you put in has to be on the same recipe's list. "Any vegetable" means any of the game's vegetables counts, raw or roasted, alongside the listed ingredients.

The pot checks its recipes in a fixed order, the order of the Cooking Pot group in the table, and cooks the first one your ingredients match. Two Tomatoes make Tomato Soup. Two pieces of Raw Meat make Meat Soup, not Stew; add a vegetable instead of the second piece of meat and you get Stew. Noodles with Basil make Pesto Pasta.

If everything a recipe accepts is also accepted by a recipe earlier in the order, the pot always cooks the earlier one, and that recipe can never come out of the pot. The table marks any such recipe with "Never made: an earlier pot recipe always matches first".

Each recipe's cooking time is in the table, and the game shows only a progress bar. Each batch gives you one dish.

How recipes unlock and where to see them

The developer explained the rule in the official Discord on March 7, 2026: "Each player needs to grab one of the items in the recipe to unlock it." Players often look for the Leather recipe at the Workbench before it has unlocked; the Leather guide walks through it.

In co-op, that rule applies to each player separately. The developer said on July 5, 2026 that this may change. The multiplayer guide covers how saves and joining work.

On April 27, 2026 the developer listed three places to see recipes: the Crafting menu, the Workbench and the Cooking Table. The June 9, 2026 patch notes add that the game stopped "showing unlock 'cooking table / workbench' recipes before using them". The Cooking Pot, the Oven, the Rotisserie and the Kettle have no recipe list of their own, so this table is the list.

How to read the recipe table

Makes is the row's result, and Amount is how many you get from one craft. Ingredients lists what one craft uses. Where the recipe data leaves an amount blank, the game's code uses one of each for Crafting, Workbench and Cooking Table recipes; the Oven, the Rotisserie and the Kettle take one item and give one back. These amounts, the cooking stations' outputs and the Cooking Pot rules are read from the game code of the build named under the title, not from screenshots.

Time is in seconds. Crafting, Workbench and Cooking Table recipes always take 3 seconds; the cooking stations use each recipe's own time. In the game you see only a progress bar.

Damage over base applies to Forge Anvil upgrades: it is added to the weapon's own damage and counts every level so far, so each level's value is the total gain over the unupgraded weapon. The anvil group lists the weapons it accepts.

Item details links each result to its own row. Guide links rows to the guide that covers getting that item or its ingredients. A few recipes make items that have no English name in the game files; they are left out. For what an item does and where to find it, follow the link to the items table.
