Silver Pines Endings: How to Get Leave, Rest and Live

Ending facts checked October 8, 2026 · Game build 25806663

Silver Pines has three endings: Leave, Rest and Live. All three start from the same choice with Eddie Velvet after the final boss, and you can get every ending on one save. Leave needs nothing extra; Live needs every Memento, and Rest needs two Gold Rings.

How many endings does Silver Pines have?

The ending names come from the game files and match the game's three ending achievements. The routes below come from player guides and a launch-day video, so treat the step details as reported. The developers said before launch that every ending can be reached on a single save file.

Light spoilers: the route sections name the people and places each ending needs. Nothing here describes what happens in an ending.

The routes come from player guides from launch week, and each ending's section below has the full steps.

Before the final choice: save first, then pick an order

The three endings split at one moment, so the easy way to see them all is to save before it and reload.

  1. Beat the final boss. Guides report a phone right after the fight that you can save on; use it. The beginner's guide to saving covers how saving works.
  2. Get Leave first. It needs nothing collected, so it is the fastest to see.
  3. Reload that save, spare Eddie, and go for Live or Rest, whichever you are closer to. You can do both from the same save once you have what each one needs.

If you are still exploring, there is no hurry: the developers said every ending can be reached on one save file. Live and Rest both send you back into the town after you spare Eddie, so you can collect what is missing then. For how long it takes to see everything, see the Silver Pines length breakdown.

How to get the Leave ending

Leave is the quickest of the three endings. It unlocks the Ending: Leave achievement.

What you need: nothing beyond reaching Eddie Velvet.

  1. After the final boss, save on the nearby phone and go right through the passage to Eddie Velvet.
  2. Talk to him until the game asks "Kill Eddie Velvet?", and answer yes.
  3. You end up outside the Miner Diner in the Outskirts. Answer the phone there.
  4. Get in your car to leave. The ending plays from there.

How to get the Live ending

Live takes the longest to prepare for, because of the Mementos. It unlocks the Ending: Live achievement.

What you need: every Memento. The game's achievement for finding them all, Burden of Memories, counts 25, and guides report needing all 25.

  1. Talk to Eddie Velvet, answer no when the game asks "Kill Eddie Velvet?", and walk away to the right. You are taken back to Downtown.
  2. One guide also has you climb the ladder to the right and talk to the person by the wrecked car. It takes a minute, so do it.
  3. Go back to the Outskirts and find the Burnt Man. If you have every Memento, he tells you to put them in the furnace. Talk until the conversation ends.
  4. Go into the shack next to him and use the furnace. Answer yes to "Burn everything?". The ending plays from there.

If the Burnt Man does not bring up the furnace, guides take that to mean you are still missing Mementos.

How to get the Rest ending

Rest asks the most of you and ends with an extra boss fight. It unlocks the Ending: Rest achievement.

What you need: two Gold Rings.

  • Alice's ring. Guides report it only appears after you spare Eddie. Back in Downtown, go left to find Alice's body in the water and take the Gold Ring from her.
  • The ring in the Locked Ring Box. The box is on the sink in the Miner Diner restroom in the Outskirts. Its lid is missing five Stars; put all five in to open it and take the second Gold Ring.

Then:

  1. Go to the Rabbit Hole, head behind the bar and onto the stage.
  2. Use the wall with "a pair of perfectly ring shaped indents" and put both rings in.
  3. You arrive in a different Rabbit Hole. Talk to the people there, restock at the storage box, and be ready for a chase and a boss fight with plenty of healing and ammo.
  4. After the fight, walk out through the door to finish the ending.

Where to find the five Stars

The game files place five Stars. Player guides describe how to get each one, and the interactive Silver Pines map shows where these places are:

  1. Rabbit Hole. On a table in the middle of the bar, the first time you get there.
  2. Crimson Bear Motel, Bungalo 3. The key to Bungalo 3 (Room 3) is in the Lighthouse in the Outskirts, which guides report you break into once you have the sledgehammer. The door code is on the Silver Pines puzzle solutions page.
  3. The Quiet Hour Cafe, Downtown. Later in the game, after the cemetery, next to a wounded man you met earlier.
  4. Thelend Exterior, top of the mountain. Talk to the girl in the yellow raincoat; you can take the Star from her afterwards.
  5. The hole by the caravan, Downtown. Once you have collected all the cable car bells, take the shovel from inside the caravan and dig further down the hole the man there has been digging.

Some guides say the box needs seven Stars. The game files have five, and the box has a state for each Star from none to five.

Is there a true ending in Silver Pines?

No ending is called the true ending in the game. The three endings are simply named Leave, Rest and Live, and each has its own achievement.

Players and guides tend to treat Rest as the best or final ending, because it asks the most of you: it needs both rings and the five Stars, and it ends with an extra boss fight. That is player opinion, not a label from the game. If you want the full picture, aim for all three.

What the endings unlock: game modifiers

Finishing Silver Pines in different ways unlocks game modifiers for your next game, the developers said before launch. The game files list twelve, each with the condition below, in the game's own words.

Game modifiers and unlock conditions from the game files, build 25806663.
ModifierHow to unlock it
Timer Achieve any ending
Big Pockets Achieve any ending after reaching max inventory capacity
Infinite Stamina Achieve any ending after finding all of the coffee upgrades
Faster Sprint Achieve 'Rest' ending in less than 8 Hours on Survival Horror difficulty or higher
50% Health Regeneration Achieve any ending with 40+ healing items used
Switchblade Achieve 'Leave' ending
SMG Loadout Achieve 'Rest' ending in 10 Hours or less on Survival Horror difficulty or higher
Magnum Loadout Achieve 'Rest' ending in 10 Hours or less on Nightmare difficulty
Reusable Repair Kit Achieve 'Rest' ending
Endless Ammo Pack Achieve any ending on Survival Horror difficulty or higher with 0 Ranged Kills
Omega Rifle Achieve 'Live' ending
One Hit Death Challenge Achieve 'Rest' ending on Nightmare difficulty

Each ending has a modifier of its own: Leave unlocks the Switchblade, Live the Omega Rifle and Rest the Reusable Repair Kit, and any ending unlocks the Timer. Five of the twelve need Rest, and five ask for Survival Horror or Nightmare, the two hardest of the four difficulties; the Silver Pines difficulty guide explains them. The timed ones are best tried on a later run, once you know the route.

Version notes and limits

This page covers the full game at launch, build 25806663. The ending names, modifiers and Star locations are read from that build; if a patch changes them, this page is updated.

The routes are from player guides and a video in the first days after launch. The game files we read name the endings and the modifier conditions, but not the exact checks the game makes for Live and Rest, so details such as whether Live needs anything besides the Mementos are not confirmed. The developers' replies quoted here are from before launch.

Silver Pines endings FAQ

How many endings does Silver Pines have?

Three: Leave, Rest and Live. Each has a Steam achievement with the same name.

Can you get all the endings in one playthrough?

Yes. The developers said every ending can be reached on a single save file. Save on the phone after the final boss, take Leave, then reload for Live and Rest.

Which ending should I get first?

Leave, because it needs nothing collected. Then reload and go for Live or Rest.

How many Mementos do you need for the Live ending?

All of them. The achievement for finding every Memento counts 25, and guides report needing all 25 before the Burnt Man sends you to the furnace.

How many Stars does the Rest ending need?

Five. They open the Locked Ring Box from the Miner Diner restroom, which holds one of the two Gold Rings Rest needs.

Is there a true ending?

Not by name. The game calls the endings Leave, Rest and Live; players tend to see Rest as the best one because it asks the most.

What do you get for beating Silver Pines?

Game modifiers for your next game. Any ending unlocks the Timer; Leave unlocks the Switchblade, Live the Omega Rifle and Rest the Reusable Repair Kit, and the other modifiers need a full inventory, every coffee upgrade, a fast run or a hard difficulty.
