Can I transfer my Silver Pines demo save to the full game?
No. The developer said on June 30, 2026 that demo saves will not port over to the full game. Start the full game from a new save; details are in save transfer.
The Silver Pines demo is free on Steam and will stay up until October 8, 2026. Players report that it takes roughly two hours or more, and the developer said on June 30 that demo saves will not carry over to the full game.
For the two codes that stop most players: in demo build 23642600 the W-500 Shotgun sits in a weapon locker in the Crimson Bear Motel Gift Shop with the fixed combination 6671, while the motel gate number is generated for each save and written in the Motel Guest Ledger.
This guide covers only what is in the demo: the Outskirts and the Crimson Bear Motel. Launch day, price and the full game's platforms are on the Silver Pines release date page, and the Silver Pines guide hub lists every page for the game.

No. The developer said in the official Discord on June 30, 2026 that demo saves will not port over to the full game, because the area is still under development. Plan to start the full game from a new save.
In practice, that means:
If you are deciding whether to finish the demo before October 8, the save question should not drive that choice: nothing carries forward either way. Play it for what it shows you about the game.
Players report that the Silver Pines demo takes roughly two hours or more. One Steam Community player wrote that they had played for a good two hours and had not finished yet. The developer has not published a length for the demo, so treat two hours as a starting estimate, not a fixed time.
The demo takes place in two areas, the Outskirts and the Crimson Bear Motel (demo build 23642600). The developer estimated on June 3 that the Outskirts make up roughly 10 to 15 percent of the full game's world.
In demo build 23642600, the W-500 Shotgun is in a weapon locker in the Gift Shop at the Crimson Bear Motel. The locker's combination is 6671, and it is the same in every save. The game's own description calls the W-500 a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun.
The developer confirmed on June 2 that you can unlock the shotgun in the demo, but that it sits behind a small puzzle. The steps, using the demo's own room names:
The game files include a document titled Weapon Locker Code in the motel. Players report that the clue for the combination comes from a phone call to one of the motel rooms. Phone numbers that circulate online as the "shotgun code" are not the locker combination; the combination is the four digits above.
Some community posts place the locker in a different room of the motel. The game files put both the shotgun and its locker in the Gift Shop, which is the room's in-game name.
Since Demo Patch 2 (June 12, 2026), the shotgun can destroy the wooden barricades that block some paths in the demo.
The combination 6671 is the demo answer. The developer said on June 8 that some codes are randomized, so check the locker again in the full game rather than assuming the same number.
There is no single gate code to copy. In demo build 23642600, the card reader at the Crimson Bear Motel entrance gate uses a five-digit number that the game generates for each save. The document titled Motel Guest Ledger shows the number for your save.
To get through the gate:
If you start a new save, read the ledger again, because the number changes with the save. That is also why a gate number from a video or a forum post fails: it belongs to someone else's save.
The game files tie the gate's card reader and the Motel Guest Ledger to the same random-code setting, which is how this page knows the ledger holds your number.
| Location | Lock | Demo code |
|---|---|---|
| Gift Shop, Crimson Bear Motel | Weapon locker, combination lock | 6671 |
| Bungalo 3, Crimson Bear Motel | Keypad lock | 6671 |
| Shed at the Diner, Outskirts | Combination lock | 1972 |
| General Store, Outskirts | Keypad door | 2311 |
| Motel entrance gate | Card reader keypad | Different in every save; read the Motel Guest Ledger |
Location names are the names the demo uses on its map; "Bungalo" is the game's own spelling. The lock column describes the mechanism, because the game files do not give every lock an on-screen name. The General Store also holds a document titled General Store Code.
In the demo, only the motel gate uses a number generated for each save; every other code in the table is fixed. The developer said on June 8 that the team randomizes some codes and that codes tied to artwork or to phone dialogue are harder to randomize. The full game can differ from the demo, so use these numbers for the demo only.
No. The developer said on June 30, 2026 that demo saves will not port over to the full game. Start the full game from a new save; details are in save transfer.
No. The demo is on Steam for PC. The developer said on September 20 that the demo has not come to other platforms yet, and earlier said that demos on more platforms might come after launch, without a promise. The full game's platforms are listed on the release date and platforms page.
The publisher's September 24 announcement says the demo will stay up until October 8, 2026. It does not say what happens after that date, so check the Steam demo listing after launch.
Demo Patch 2, released June 12, 2026, let the shotgun destroy wooden barricades and fixed a map reveal problem, among other fixes. It is the current demo version, Steam build 23642600.
Yes. The developer said the demo is English only and that the full game will have Chinese. The full game's Steam page lists its languages.
The codes, room names and document titles on this page come from the demo's game files, not from a playthrough by NPC Tips.
Three details remain open: the on-screen names of the locks in the fixed-code table, how the shotgun clue reaches the player (the phone-call route is a player report), and whether the full game keeps any of these codes or locations. The demo's play time is a player estimate for the same reason.
This page will be refreshed when the full game launches on October 8, 2026, when the demo's Steam status changes after that date, or if a new demo patch replaces build 23642600.
