Where is the shotgun in Silver Pines?
In the demo, the W-500 Shotgun is in a weapon locker in the Gift Shop at the Crimson Bear Motel. The locker needs a code, which is on the Silver Pines demo page.
Silver Pines weapons in the demo come down to four you can carry: the W-500 Shotgun, the Snub .38 Revolver, the Boxcutter and the Bottle, which you throw. The developers said on October 1, 2026 that the full game has "10+ firearms and a lot of melee weapons". This page adds them from the full game's files on launch day, October 8, 2026.
For the rest of the game, start at the Silver Pines guide hub.
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Demo weapons | Four: W-500 Shotgun, Snub .38 Revolver, Boxcutter and Bottle. Evidence: The Demo game files, build 23642600; checked October 5, 2026. |
| Weapon types in the demo | Two firearms, one melee weapon and one throwable. Evidence: The Demo game files, build 23642600; checked October 5, 2026. |
| Demo ammunition | .38 Bullets for the revolver and 12ga Buckshot for the shotgun. Evidence: The Demo game files, build 23642600; checked October 5, 2026. |
| Upgrades in the demo | None. Evidence: The Demo game files place no weapon attachment in the Outskirts or at the Crimson Bear Motel; checked October 5, 2026. |
| Full game | "10+ firearms and a lot of melee weapons," the developers said. Evidence: Official Silver Pines Discord, October 1, 2026. |
| Weapon stats | Not listed on this page. Evidence: Damage and other weapon numbers exist only in the game's internal files, with nothing in the game to check them against. |
Every demo row comes from the Demo build.
The full game launches on October 8, 2026, and this page is rebuilt from its game files that day.
Names and descriptions are the game's own. Each location links to the area guide that lists the room, and every weapon is on the Silver Pines interactive map.
| Weapon | Type | Where to find it | The game's description |
|---|---|---|---|
| W-500 Shotgun | Firearm (shotgun) | In the weapon locker in the Gift Shop at the Crimson Bear Motel. The locker opens with a code from the demo page. | 12 Gauge Pump action shotgun designed for ease of use. Uses 12ga ammo. |
| Snub .38 Revolver | Firearm (revolver) | Upstairs in the Grizzly Suite at the Crimson Bear Motel. The suite opens with the Grizzly Suite Keycard. | Compact revolver designed for concealed carry. Uses .38 ammunition. |
| Boxcutter | Melee | Outside Rodney's General Store in the Outskirts. | Makeshift knife with poor reach and durability. |
| Bottle | Throwable | Crimson Bear Motel: Bungalo 1, Bungalo 3, the Game Room and downstairs in the Gift Shop. Outskirts: the Pharmacy and the back of the Pharmacy. | Glass container for storing liquids. It can be thrown as an improvised ranged weapon. |
Bungalo 3 stays shut in the demo, so its Bottle is out of reach; the Crimson Bear Motel guide explains why. "Bungalo" is the game's own spelling.
A developer said on October 1, 2026 that many players miss the shotgun at the motel. It is optional, a developer said on June 7, 2026, but the game may be rough without it.
The Game Room has a BB gun shooting gallery, and its prize is the Poolside Key, according to Bloody Disgusting's preview (June 1, 2026) and player playthroughs. The BB gun stays with the gallery: ChuckNyce's demo playthrough on YouTube has no gun at all after winning it. No pistol turns up either. The demo's game files and player playthroughs show nothing to pick up beyond the four weapons above, so a guide that lists a pistol late in the demo does not match the game. The revolver is the Snub .38, which uses .38 ammunition.
Until the full game's files can be read on October 8, 2026, everything in this section comes from what the developers said in the official Silver Pines Discord before launch. None of it gives a location.
There are no weapon upgrades in the demo: the Demo game files place no attachment in the Outskirts or at the Crimson Bear Motel. In the full game there are attachments to find, "about a single upgrade per weapon currently," a developer said on June 9, 2026. Asked about an aiming reticle on June 1, 2026, a developer said a later weapon upgrade covers it, without saying which one. This page lists each attachment, the guns it fits and where it is once the full game's files are read on launch day.
The demo has ammunition for its two guns, plus one type with no demo gun to use it.
| Ammo | Used by in the demo | Where to find it in the demo | The game's description |
|---|---|---|---|
| .38 Bullets | Snub .38 Revolver | Crimson Bear Motel: the Grizzly Suite (two), the Gift Shop, downstairs in the Gift Shop and Bungalo 3. Outskirts: the Shack, the shore below it and downstairs in the Miner Diner. | Standard issue .38 caliber ammo. Used by small revolvers and handguns. |
| 12ga Buckshot | W-500 Shotgun | Crimson Bear Motel: the Gift Shop and the Game Room. Outskirts: the Shed at the Diner. | Buckshot shells loaded with pellets for spread action. Used by Shotguns. |
| .223 Full Metal Jacket | No gun in the demo | A crate in the motel courtyard. | Full metal jacket high penetration rounds. Used by rifles. |
Players also report a vending machine that sells bullets, buckshot and duct tape, as ChuckNyce's demo playthrough shows. For stretching ammo and inventory space, see the Silver Pines beginner's guide.
Melee weapons wear out. The Boxcutter's own description warns of poor reach and durability, and a developer said on June 7, 2026 that broken melee weapons deal very low damage. Two items in the demo restore durability:
| Item | Where to find it in the demo | The game's description |
|---|---|---|
| Duct Tape | In a toolbox at the Underpass in the Outskirts; other toolboxes can hold it too. | Restores a small amount of durability to a melee weapon. |
| Repair Kit | In the locker downstairs in the Gift Shop at the Crimson Bear Motel. | Fully restores durability of a melee weapon. |
How fighting, stamina and durability play out is covered under combat in the beginner's guide. The developers said you can also craft makeshift repair items in the full game; crafting with bottles is covered under healing and crafting.
This page describes the Silver Pines demo, Demo build 23642600. Two things stay open until the full game's files are read: which weapons, attachments and places the full game has, and whether the four demo weapons keep their names and rooms. On launch day, October 8, 2026, this page is rebuilt from the full game's files, and the build number above tells you which version the tables describe.

Four you can carry: the W-500 Shotgun, the Snub .38 Revolver, the Boxcutter and the Bottle, which you throw. That is everything the Demo game files, build 23642600, place in the demo's two areas.
Yes, in the full game: a developer said there is about one upgrade per weapon (June 9, 2026). The demo has none.
No. The BB gun belongs to the Game Room's shooting gallery and you do not keep it, and the demo's game files and player playthroughs show no pistol to pick up.
Use Duct Tape for a small repair or a Repair Kit for a full one. Broken melee weapons deal very low damage, a developer said, so repair before a fight.
This page does not rank weapons, because damage and other stats exist only in the game's internal files, with nothing in the game to check them against. A developer named the Swedish K SMG and a hunting rifle among the team's favourites (August 20, 2026).
Yes. The game describes the Bottle as an improvised ranged weapon, and a developer said you can throw glass bottles. Bottles also go into crafting, so weigh a throw against keeping one.
