Gavin Drea's deputy is written two ways in the same announcement: "Deputy Reports" in the post text and "Roberts" on its video card. We will use the spelling from the in-game credits once the game is out.
Red Walker is the only row without "and more". A developer gave the same answer in the official Discord on June 5, 2026, when a player asked who voices the detective. No announced actor has been tied to Eddie Velvet, the missing musician Red Walker is searching for, or to any character outside this table.
What the official posts say about each actor
Each introduction mentions a few of the actor's other roles. Only those works are listed here.
- Chase Brown: credits in Lies of P, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and Stranger Things: The First Shadow.
- Suanne Braun: Hathor in Stargate SG-1, with work across film, television, stage and video games.
- James Sobol Kelly: Young Sherlock, Jack Ryan, The Division 2 and the recent Hitman trilogy.
- Gavin Drea: the voice of Male V in Cyberpunk 2077, and Vikings: Valhalla.
- Isabella Pappas: an Olivier Award nominee with West End work and a role in the upcoming Neuromancer TV series.
- Robert Gilbert: Resident Evil Requiem, Killing Eve and Ready Player One.
- Glenn Wrage: Veep, Dying Light 2, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Elden Ring Nightreign.
How the Silver Pines voices were made
Players in the official Discord have asked whether the developers voiced the characters themselves. They did not.
Professional voice actors
On September 20, 2026 a developer said in the official Discord's #ask-the-devs channel that the studio worked with professional voice actors. The seven announced actors all have film, television, stage or game credits, as their introduction posts show.
Monster sounds by Karl Flodin
In the same reply, the developer said that the only voice from the team in the game belongs to Karl Flodin, who made all of the monster sounds and then put them through heavy sound design. That work is sound design rather than a voice role, so he is not in the cast table.
Who is not in the voice cast
Three other things can look like voice credits but are not:
- Placeholder lines. An early cutscene that was later cut used lines read by Karl Flodin as placeholders. A developer shared that footage in the official Discord on July 17, 2026 and said it was recorded about three years earlier. It is not the launch cast.
- Motion for animation. Character animation is rotoscoped: performances were filmed and drawn over, as the September 3, 2026 developer diary on Steam describes. The people on camera are movement references, not voice actors.
- Faces in portraits. On September 20, 2026 a developer said the developers and a number of friends and family lent their likenesses to character portraits and designs. A familiar face does not tell you who voices that character.
We also do not list names that come from how a voice sounds. Several players in the official Discord have compared Red Walker's voice to other actors; none of those guesses is a source.
Voice acting languages
Silver Pines has full voice acting in English only. The other nine supported languages cover the interface and subtitles, per the Steam store's language list checked October 5, 2026. The full language list is on the Silver Pines languages section of the platforms page.
Where to find the full Silver Pines cast and credits
On September 20, 2026, Team17's community manager said in the official Discord that the publisher would share a little about all of the voice actors before launch. The seven posts on the official Silver Pines X account are that series, running from September 21 to October 5, 2026.
The series is not a full cast list. Six posts say "and more", and only the game's own credits list every role. Those credits arrive with the game on October 8, 2026, and this page will add them:
- New rows will name the in-game credits as their source.
- The seven announced rows keep their X post as the source, and their "and more" is replaced by the roles the credits list.
- Gavin Drea's deputy will take the spelling the credits use.
Until then the table above holds only what the official posts state. We do not fill the gaps from actor databases or agency pages.
Version notes and limits
This page covers the official announcements three days before launch. Three points are specific to it.
Open items. The full role list, the spelling of Gavin Drea's deputy, and any other actor the credits name are still to come from the game. Steam lists English as the only language with full audio; that is checked again on the store after launch.
Recheck. After the October 8, 2026 launch we read the credits in the full game and add the complete cast here, aiming for within three days. New announcement posts from the official account before then are added as they appear.
