How do I get the bigger RV in Nomad Drive?
Search gas stations, radio stations and watch towers. The C-Class RV spawns at random at those three kinds of stops, most often at gas stations.
To get an RV in Nomad Drive, first finish the "Build your first RV!" objective on the camper van at the starter house: fit four wheels, an engine, a battery, a radiator, a handbrake and a steering wheel, then add fuel. The bigger C-Class RV cannot be bought. In the demo it only turns up at gas stations, radio stations and watch towers, at random, and the same seed always puts it in the same place.

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| First RV | The camper van at the starter house, in every run. Evidence: The demo's loot tables (build 25361176). |
| Build your first RV! | Four wheels, engine, battery, radiator, handbrake, steering wheel, fuel. Evidence: The objective definitions in the demo's game files (build 25361176). |
| Fuel for the objective | 5 units in the tank; a Gas Can holds 15. Evidence: The demo's game files (build 25361176). |
| Bigger RV | The C-Class RV, at gas stations, radio stations and watch towers only. Evidence: The demo's loot tables (build 25361176). |
| Odds per stop | About 32% at a gas station, 21% at a radio station, 10% at a watch tower. Evidence: Estimated from the demo's loot tables (build 25361176). |
| Buying an RV | Not possible; the demo has no shop or money. Evidence: The demo's game code (build 25361176). |
| Vehicles in the demo | Two: the starter van and the C-Class RV. Evidence: The demo's game files (build 25361176). |
Every row describes the demo, Steam build 25361176, read from its files and code on October 9 and 10, 2026. The Early Access build arrives on October 20, 2026 and will be checked on launch day.
"Build your first RV!" appears once you have finished "Gather Your Tools", the opening objective that asks you to pick up a flashlight and a compass. Its steps, in the order the objective lists them:
Each part step ticks the first time you fit that kind of part, and the objective list doubles as your checklist.
When it is done, "Power Up and Start the Engine" appears: fill the radiator to 10 of its 15 units, press the ignition and get the engine running. Water counts as coolant in the demo; our guide to filling the radiator explains how.
The C-Class RV is a loot spawn like any other item. Each location picks one of three loot tables for your playthrough, and one spot in some of those tables can hold the RV:
| Location | Tables that can hold the C-Class RV | Rough odds per location |
|---|---|---|
| Gas station | All three (about 32–33% each) | About 1 in 3 |
| Radio station | Two of three (about 30–32% each) | About 1 in 5 |
| Watch tower | One of three (30%) | About 1 in 10 |
| Every other location | None | Never |
What this means on the road:
Players who find the C-Class RV describe it as a shell. In the Steam thread "where do you get the other rv's ?" one player found it at a watch tower and a gas station, "always stripped down", and moved the wheels, seats and engine over from the van. Plan for that:
Which parts it spawns with is not something we could read from the demo's files, so check it over before you strip the van.
The demo has two vehicles you can find: the starter camper van and the C-Class RV. The game's files also mention a semi truck and a trailer, but neither appears in any loot table, so you cannot get them in the demo.
The developers have announced more for Early Access. "We keep adding more vehicles," a developer posted in July 2026, and in September the producer said ladders and roof racks will work on all RVs at launch, with Blueprints unlocking permanent vehicle upgrades. Our roadmap page tracks what Early Access adds.
Three items are still open: which parts the C-Class RV spawns with, whether parts move freely between the two vehicles, and how the Early Access build changes vehicles and where they appear.
Launch day, October 20, 2026, triggers a fresh read of the Early Access build's files; any change to vehicles or their spawns is added with the date it was checked.

No. The demo has no shop or money; the C-Class RV is found, not bought.
Roughly one gas station in three, one radio station in five and one watch tower in ten, estimated from the demo's loot tables.
Yes. Loot is rolled from the seed, so the same seed puts it at the same stop.
Fit four wheels, an engine, a battery, a radiator, a handbrake and a steering wheel, then put 5 units of fuel in the tank.
Two: the starter van and the C-Class RV.
The developers have announced more vehicles, plus ladders and roof racks for all RVs.
