What is the best money making method in Loftia?
Cooking. Garden Salad earns 45 Dew over the cost of its seeds, Tomato Soup and Veggie Egg Scramble 35. Selling crops raw earns 5 to 15.
The best money making in Loftia is cooking, not selling raw crops. A Garden Salad sells for 75 Dew and its three seeds cost 30, so each one earns 45 Dew; a Tomato sold raw earns only 15 over its seed. Ship your crops and meals in the Shipping Bin to turn them into Dew.

The Shipping Bin. The game calls it "one way Loftians can contribute to Loftia's prosperity": shipping crops and other goods to the city "will net you some Dews". Once the bin unlocks, the game tells you "You can now ship your crops or cooked meals in the Shipping Bin!" Early quests have you ship lettuce, then crops and a Carrot Soup, so you learn it in the first hour.
The Vending Machine. Pebble's welcome gift in The Extremely Secret Surprise includes a Vending Machine. It lets you buy items from and sell items to other Loftians in your neighborhood, and the game suggests selling "different goods like clothes and furniture" there. When something sells, you collect the Dew from the machine.
Raw materials are worth almost nothing. Screws and Plastic Discards sell for 1 Dew each, and Sugar that costs 5 Dew at Kun's shop sells back for 3. Keep your materials for crafting and sell crops and dishes instead.
Every dish below is a Loftia City recipe you can cook at the Cooking Station. Profit is the sell price minus what the ingredients cost to buy: seeds at Hazel's Seed Shop, and Butter, Milk, Egg, Cooking Oil and Sugar at 5 Dew each from Kun's Recipe Shop. Wild Berries and Portobello Mushrooms are gathered, so they count as free. Every dish uses 2 Battery charges.
| Dish | Ingredients | Sells for | Costs to buy | Profit | Recipe |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Garden Salad | Tomato, Lettuce, Carrot | 75 | 30 | 45 | Quest reward |
| Tomato Soup | 2 Tomatoes | 65 | 30 | 35 | No unlock needed |
| Veggie Egg Scramble | Tomato, Lettuce, Egg | 60 | 25 | 35 | Kun's Recipe Shop |
| Fries | 2 Potatoes, Cooking Oil | 65 | 35 | 30 | Kun's Recipe Shop |
| Potato Soup | 2 Potatoes, Milk | 65 | 35 | 30 | Kun's Recipe Shop |
| Creamy Summer Soup | Carrot, Tomato | 55 | 25 | 30 | Kun's Recipe Shop |
| Power Smoothie | Tomato, Wild Berries | 40 | 15 | 25 | Kun's Recipe Shop |
| Shakshuka | Tomato, Egg | 40 | 20 | 20 | Kun's Recipe Shop |
| Mush & Chips | Portobello Mushrooms, Potato | 35 | 15 | 20 | Kun's Recipe Shop |
| Carrot Soup | 2 Carrots | 35 | 20 | 15 | No unlock needed |
| Fruit Smoothie | 2 Wild Berries, Sugar | 20 | 5 | 15 | No unlock needed |
| Carrot Cake | Carrot, Butter | 25 | 15 | 10 | No unlock needed |
| Chef Salad | Lettuce, Egg | 20 | 10 | 10 | No unlock needed |

| Fried Eggs | 2 Eggs, Cooking Oil | 20 | 15 | 5 | Kun's Recipe Shop |
Kun's recipes cost 20 to 30 Dew each, once. The price depends on the Global Village that week: the game tells you when "Kun's shop is selling items at a discount this week". Portobello Mushrooms come from glowing nodes you gather with Pruners during treasure hunts, so Mush & Chips is not a dish you can make on demand.
Selling crops raw earns far less:
| Crop | Seed costs | Sells for | Profit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tomato | 15 | 30 | 15 |
| Potato | 15 | 25 | 10 |
| Carrot | 10 | 15 | 5 |
| Lettuce | 5 | 10 | 5 |
| Cotton | 5 | 10 | 5 |
Two Tomatoes sold raw earn 30 Dew of profit; cooked into Tomato Soup they earn 35. Every sell price for every dish is in our Loftia recipes table, and seed prices and growing times are in our Loftia crops table.
Cooking is limited by your Battery as much as by your crops: each dish uses 2 charges. How to recharge it and make it bigger is on our Loftia battery page.
In the demo, Dew stopped at 5,000. Players reported that their Dew stayed at 5,000 even after selling more. In the official Loftia Discord on October 22, 2026, a developer answered that the 5,000 cap "is for the demo" and that it goes higher in Early Access, with "much higher cap in release" in a second reply.
We add the Early Access cap once the game or the developers give it.
Loftia also has a paid in-game shop, which sells cosmetics only. How the game is priced is on our Loftia price page.
One point is open: whether Early Access changes the prices, shops and cap above. Early Access opening on November 3, 2026 triggers a recalculation of the profit tables from the Early Access build, with the dishes and crops of the new districts added.
